Privacy Policy

The data controller for this website is Ale Heredia, operating as Logus Graphics ("we", "us"). Contact: ale@logus.graphics.

Analytics (optional, with your consent): If you enable analytics, we use self-hosted Umami at analytics.logus.graphics to collect aggregated usage data such as pages visited, referrer, browser type, device type, and general location (country). We configure Umami to minimize personal data (e.g. IP anonymization where available). Umami does not use advertising trackers or cross-site profiling.

Comments (optional, with your consent): If you enable comments on blog posts, Giscus (giscus.app) loads content from GitHub. If you sign in with GitHub, GitHub's privacy policy and cookies apply to that interaction.

Consent preferences: Your cookie choices are stored in your browser (localStorage) so we can remember them. This storage is necessary to apply your preferences.

Theme preference: Your light/dark theme choice may be stored locally in your browser for display purposes.

We process analytics and comments data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie preferences in the site footer; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Analytics data is retained on our self-hosted Umami instance for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Consent preferences remain in your browser until you clear site data or change your choices.

Analytics data is processed on our own infrastructure (EU). Giscus comments are served by giscus.app and may involve GitHub (US/EU, depending on GitHub's processing). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards may apply under GitHub's terms.

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We do not load analytics or comment scripts until you consent. Umami is designed to work without advertising cookies. Giscus or GitHub may set cookies if you use comment features while signed in. Essential storage for consent and theme is used without a separate consent banner category.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates the latest version. Material changes may require renewed consent (we will bump the consent version when needed).
